The Drop Box Film--Winner of 2013 SAICFF Best of Festival

The Drop Box won the award for Best Sanctity of Life film as well as Best of Festival, at the 2013 San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival.  My family and I were there, but did not see the film.  As a matter-of-fact, no one we knew saw the film there either.

The awards ceremony had many people moved to tears as a young unknown filmmaker named Brian Ivie accepted the honors.  Brian told the audience he became a Christian while making The Drop Box.  The crowd stood to applaud the Lord at work in this young man's life.

This trailer will touch your heart.

We saw it! It was the first film we saw on Thursday. Awesome. I remember thinking, "wow...if the films are all like this, this festival is going to be amazing." : )

We watched the live feed of the Awards Ceremony, and it literally had me in tears, many times!!! My husband, who has been 4 or 5 times, said it was the best and most challenging Ceremony he's seen.

We are going to try to get all of the films that were featured there.

And I can't wait to see The Drop Box!
